The first thing that struck me when I pulled the frame out of the box was holy shit this frame is long! After a few weeks of fiddling around for parts (it runs a 150mm back hub and a 83mm bottom bracket - both of which were new to me and not to be found amongst my bits boxes) I finished the build and slung my leg across the beasty for the first time.. and thought holy shit, this bike is long! It's worth saying that I'd come from a bmx/jump bike background and had been running a fairly compact Kona Stinky with 24 inchers on as my downhill machine, so this was my first proper, grown-up big rig and at first I found the size a little intimidating.

1 Vote(s)
