Mont Sainte Anne is located 25 miles northeast of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada in the city of Beaupre. Mont Sainte Anne became a UCI event in 1998 with Nicolas Vouilloz taking the first downhill Gold. Since then Mont Sainte Anne has be a fixture on the circuit welcoming the World Cup back for many years. The course is tough one with lots of roots, rocks, and technical sections to keep riders on their toes. This year the event should be especially challenging due to the amount of rain that has fallen prior to the event and the rainy forecast through the event weekend.
