http://www.asilvertouch.com About five years ago, MRP chain guides seemed to be on every freeride and downhill bike in the region. They were one of, if not, the most popular chain guides available on the market. MRP chain guides were well designed and always a very nice products. They worked like a charm but there was one caveat at the time with MRP's systems; every guide, whether it was a System 1 or 2 chain guide, were built with aluminum bash guards. The design of the System 1 and 2 allowed an extremely effective guide and one of the lightest around, but if you were unfortunate enough to hit a rock hard enough, the odds were that you needed plyers and muscles to straighten the system out before getting back on your bike.
